Introduction to calcium hypochlorite products Common process routes Analysis of market development trends for production enterprises
Nickname bleach, chemical formula Ca (ClO) 2, molecular weight 142.983, melting point 100 ℃, water-soluble and soluble, density 2.35 g/cm, appearance white powder, solubility: soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. Strong oxidants, water or humid air can cause combustion and explosion, and mixing with alkaline substances can cause explosion. Exposure to organic matter poses a risk of combustion, as it can decompose and release irritating chlorine gas when exposed to heat, acid, or sunlight. Usage: Mainly used for bleaching cotton fabrics, chemical fibers, and pulp, as well as for disinfection, sterilization, and other purposes as analytical reagents, bleachers, depilators, and oxidants. Used for bleaching cotton, linen, pulp, silk fiber fabrics, sterilization and disinfection of drinking water, swimming pool water, purification of acetylene, etc. This product is an efficient bleaching agent.

Experimental Study on the Treatment of Lead Zinc Mineral Processing Wastewater by Oxidation Method
Due to the presence of various residual beneficiation agents in the wastewater of lead-zinc beneficiation, it is necessary to remove the residual beneficiation agents in order to reuse or discharge them. The residual beneficiation agents are mainly organic agents such as xanthate, black agent, and foaming agent, and their content in the water can be measured by COD. Chemical oxidation method is the addition of oxidants to wastewater to oxidize and degrade organic matter into easily degradable small molecule organic acids, achieving the goal of reducing COD, BOD, and toxicity of wastewater. A study aimed at the treatment of lead-zinc beneficiation wastewater in a certain mining company, conducted on-site sampling, studied methods for removing COD, and ultimately proposed a technically feasible and economically reasonable beneficiation wastewater treatment process. Based on the comprehensive analysis of the experimental results, it can be concluded that the calcium hypochlorite oxidation process has a good treatment effect on tailings water. The COD of the wastewater can be reduced to around 50mg/L, which can meet the direct discharge requirements. After simulating the accumulation of COD in wastewater recycling, it still has a good oxidation effect on beneficiation wastewater, indicating that this process can meet the treatment requirements for beneficiation wastewater with different COD levels, The dosage of calcium hypochlorite can be flexibly controlled based on the COD of the raw water. Meanwhile, compared to other processes, this process has advantages such as high COD removal efficiency, low operating cost, and less secondary pollution.

What is the bleaching principle equation of bleaching powder
The bleaching principle equation of bleaching powder is: Ca (ClO) 2+CO2+H2O=CaCO3+2HClO. The main components of bleaching powder are calcium hypochlorite and calcium chloride, and the effective component is calcium hypochlorite. Hypochloric acid is a weak acid that can oxidize pigments, thus achieving the purpose of bleaching.
